Meet the staff
Qualified Leeds University 1979 John worked as an associate at a practice in Rawdon until he bought this practice in May 1985. Married
to Elaine Hodgson who has has been in the Practice since January 1974. They have one son, Gareth, who is a keen drummer and guitarist. John's interests are music, playing guitar, swimming and gardening. He regularly attends live concerts enjoying all types of rock bands and musicians. Their aim is to constantly try to improve the Practice for the benefit of their patients.
Qualified Leeds University 1979 Brian is a part-time Clinical Demonstrator, teaching in the restorative department at Leeds Dental Institute. He has been working at this Practice since June 1985. Married with two daughters, his sporting interests include rugby, squash and skiing.
Robert qualified at Bristol University in 1996. Following several years working in general practice in the South West, Robert and his wife Samantha settled in Leeds and he joined our team in 2005.
He enjoys walking and the great outdoors, as well as reading, music and playing guitar.
Staff
Elaine is a qualified Dental Nurse and Practice Manager and has achieved a Diploma in Dental Practice Management. She qualified as a care-coordinator in 2006.
Linda qualified as a dental nurse in 1987, Oral Health Educator in 1992, Practice Manager in 2003 and care coordinator in 2006.
Caroline joined the practice approximately 4 years ago having previously worked as a medical receptionist. She has completed various one day dental workshops for dental receptionists, including care-coordination.
Michelle is our Head Nurse and has currently worked at the practice for 6 years. Michelle is a qualified first aider and has recently completed a course in cross infection and care-coordination. |
Karen is a qualified Dental Nurse currently working on a part time basis following the birth of her second child. Karen has also completed training in cross infection and care coordination. |
Lorna is a qualified Dental Nurse. Originally Lorna worked at the practice following leaving school and returned earlier this year she has also qualified as a first aider and care coordinator. |

Christina is a fully qualified Dental Nurse and joined the Practice in 2006. |
Not forgetting Gloria who keeps the place tidy!

All our surgeries have been recently refurbished with the latest dental equipment.
We have also been awarded the 'BDA Good Practice Scheme' plaque which demonstrates commitment to high standards within the practice.
